BRADENTON, Fla. (June 1, 2026) McNary Law, a Bradenton-based family law and estate planning firm, today announced that attorney Maura Isaacs has joined the firm. Isaacs brings more than a decade of courtroom experience spanning criminal prosecution, police legal counsel, and civil litigation to families navigating divorce, custody, and related matters across the Tampa Bay and Sarasota region.
Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, Isaacs earned her Bachelor of Arts from Ave Maria University and her Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in Southwest Florida. She began her legal career as a prosecutor, serving the citizens of Pinellas and Pasco counties for nearly ten years at the State Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted a wide range of crimes, including sexual battery, firearms offenses, child abuse, animal cruelty, money laundering, drug trafficking, and racketeering.
Isaacs began in the Juvenile Delinquency Division, handling cases involving habitual offenders and juvenile gang members, before being promoted to a specialized adult circuit court unit dedicated to assisting law enforcement with search warrants and long-term investigations into criminal street gangs, drug trafficking organizations, and violent felony offenders.
Following her tenure as a prosecutor, Isaacs served as Assistant Legal Counsel for the St. Petersburg Police Department, providing legal training and guidance to nearly 600 sworn personnel. She then moved into civil litigation at two insurance defense firms in downtown Tampa, handling matters in state and federal court that included automobile negligence, negligent security, premises liability, wrongful death, sexual assault, and the defense of healthcare providers and government contractors working in correctional institutions in Florida and other states.
Known for her diligence, integrity, and empathy, Isaacs brings a record of navigating high-stress, emotional situations with resilience, qualities the firm says will serve families working through marital and family law issues.
